LIMPRESSION was the opening door for my year living alone in Berlin. Being able to meet so many new people and reconnect every week is so important, and the variety of activities lets you explore things you wouldn't have done otherwise. You get to practice languages and hear people's experiences from all around the globe. It's more a group of friends than anything else, and I'm really grateful to be part of it.

When I first came to Berlin, one of my biggest goals was to learn German. Thanks to the Café Connects and the language hikes, my German improved exponentially, because they gave me a platform to actually speak instead of just learning in a classroom, in a low judgment, welcoming environment. Through that I also joined other events and found a great community. I highly recommend anyone to join and see what it's like for themselves!

I found Café Connect pretty neat. I'm a student at Freie Universität and I take German classes three times a week, but I noticed the practical talking part is a bit lacking. Café Connect fits perfectly to help with that. Plus you just meet fellow German learners, find other ways to practice, and it's just fun!
