About
LIMPRESSION is a nonprofit Berlin-based community. We create settings in which twenty-somethings who enjoy developing themselves meet each other to communicate about their past and to create new inspriing impressions. To facilitate this, we organize events and publish content designed to enrich our members.
ORGANIZING TEAM
DANIEL is LIMPRESSION‘s IT guy. In addition to his technical projects, he ensures with his camera skills and equipment that the most vivid memories during our events do not get stolen by time.
NINA, LIMPRESSION‘s culture queen, channels her diverse interests into crafting vibrant events. A trend scout with an open mind and lively humor, Nina’s touch elevates every occasion.
WHO WE ARE
We are a Berlin-based community of millennials with different professional backgrounds and coming from eight countries. We launched this initiative in 2019 to spend more time with peers who are enthusiastic about both professional as well as social-emotional development and are fun-loving at the same time.
The underlying background of this objective is that our social environment has a huge impact on our personalities; it basically sets the course of one’s life. Accordingly, we concluded for ourselves that we would like to surround ourselves with people who strive to develop their personalities comprehensively and are high-spirited too.
“You are the average of the five people you spend the most time with.”
Jim Rohn
American entrepreneur & authorAs we did not find any group, institution, or organization that connects such people on a regular basis, we decided to launch this initiative. We strongly believe that meeting each other can enrich our lives tremendously. On one hand, we have the above-mentioned characteristics in common, but on the other, we are born into different social environments, spend our time differently, and have varying psychological profiles. These differences enable us to complement our impressions of life in meaningful ways.
In order to understand ourselves better, other points of view — like reference points in three-dimensional space — are helpful. Since there is a small number of young people who are open to this kind of profound interaction, it would be awesome to get to know the ones who are. Together we can draw more truthful impressions of life, along with supporting ourselves and organizing a much more quality time spending in our lives.
